Inshore, Jetty & Close-Offshore Fishing
Enjoy a half-day or extended trip around Galveston Bay, the jetties and nearby Gulf waters. Depending on season and conditions, anglers may target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Flounder and other coastal species.
Nearshore Shark Adventures
Our seasonal shark trips offer exciting heavy-tackle action close to Galveston. Qualifying anglers can become members of the Wave Dancer Shark Club and take home special recognition from their adventure.
Offshore & Red Snapper Trips
Travel offshore aboard the Instagator or Wave Dancer 2 for Red Snapper, Cobia, Mahi, King Mackerel and other Gulf species. Trip availability and target species vary with season, regulations, weather and trip length.
Blue-Water Adventures
Long-range trips are designed for anglers ready to travel farther and fish harder. Depending on season and conditions, possible targets include Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Sailfish, Amberjack, Grouper and other offshore species.
Private Trips for Up to Six Guests Per Boat
Wave Dancer Charters provides the captain, crew, rods, reels, bait, tackle, ice and bottled water. Fish are cleaned and packaged after the trip. Guests bring required fishing licenses, food, personal drinks and a cooler for taking cleaned catch home.
Multiple-boat groups
With four boats available, Wave Dancer Charters can accommodate larger family groups, company outings and friendly fishing competitions using multiple private boats.
