What types of marine projects does B&B support?
We support research and technology programs, sea trials, vessel testing, chase and observation work, planned safety and standby operations, offshore logistics, environmental and survey work, photography and media production, corporate outings, memorial services and other custom marine assignments.
Where do your vessels operate?
Our home port is Galveston, Texas. Depending on the vessel, assignment, conditions and scheduling, operations may take place in Galveston Bay, the Houston Ship Channel, nearshore Gulf waters or farther offshore.
How do I request a quote?
Send the project purpose, preferred dates and hours, operating area, number of personnel, equipment details, desired vessel characteristics and any documentation or safety requirements. We will review the request and contact you to clarify the scope.
Do you accept long-term or recurring contracts?
Yes. B&B can support single-day projects, multi-day assignments and recurring or extended schedules, subject to vessel and crew availability.
Can you work early mornings, nights or weekends?
Custom schedules may be available by arrangement. Include the complete expected schedule with your inquiry so we can evaluate crew, vessel and operational requirements.
Can we bring our own equipment onboard?
Often, yes, provided the equipment is compatible with the selected vessel and can be safely loaded, secured, powered and operated. Provide dimensions, weight, electrical needs and handling requirements before scheduling.
Do you provide emergency-response service?
B&B provides planned standby, safety and support-vessel services by prior agreement. We are not a substitute for the U.S. Coast Guard, law enforcement, fire-rescue or emergency towing services.
What happens if weather affects the operation?
The captain monitors conditions and retains final authority over vessel safety. We will communicate with the project lead regarding delays, route changes, rescheduling or cancellation when conditions require it.
Are you licensed and insured?
B&B uses appropriately licensed captains and maintains commercial marine insurance for its operations. Project-specific documentation can be discussed during the contracting process.
